School Visit Information

We host hundreds of children from various Schools, Scouts/Cubs groups, Community Centres, Faith groups etc around the borough each year. We can also arrange for a volunteer to attend your premises if that is what you require. Our volunteers are all trained Croydon & Southwark Borough approved visitors to schools. Training was conducted by Penny Smith-Orr, Religious Education adviser for all Croydon & Southwark borough schools.

In general a visit to the Centre will involve:

·         Introduction, welcome and safety briefing.

·         Observation of one of the daily or special prayer services.

·         PowerPoint presentation on the 5 pillars of Islam.

·         Interactive activities for school children.

·         Q&A and discussion session.

·         A tour of the mosque building accompanied by a guide.

·         Snacks and drinks.

If you have specific learning requirements you would like covered on the day, please notify us and we will try our best to cover these areas. To book a visit email us at and we'll be in touch shortly.
