Modern slavery is a heinous crime. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking. The impact can be devastating for the victims. Croydon has the highest rate of slavery in London.

The Big Get Together Annual Picnic is taking place on 24th June 2018 in Parkhill park from 2pm. The Mayor and two of our MPs will also be there. Click here for more info.

The competition will be judged by a panel of professional photographers and all the photographs will be used in an exhibition during Interfaith week in November, where a first prize will be given for each age group, click for further details .

Faiths Together in Croydon will host a Croydon wide Interfaith Bike Ride and Picnic on 9 July 2017.

This year the Big Lunch is joining the Great Get-Together and the Jo Cox Foundation to create the biggest national event in years, in memory of Jo Cox MP. Croydon will be celebrating in Box Park on the weekend 18th-19th June.

Following the brutal attack on a young Kurdish male in Shrublands, Croydon, the CVA are working with the Council to organise this community debate on how safe and welcoming Croydon is to refugees. It will be held on 11/04/17 from 18:00 to 20:00.

The CVA will host our local MP Gavin Barwell on 28/04/2017. The meeting will take place at the CVA Resource Centre. Book your place now.

The Big ‘Volunteer’ Recruit is an event which will take place from 1-7th June and held in offices in Centrale, Croydon.

Croydon's acclaimed WW1 exhibition which has attracted over 25,000 visitors is now free to visit until 16 April 2017.
